There are several different operations preferred under the title of Body Aesthetics. The main ones are liposuction, tummy tuck and tightening & slimming operations in other areas. If you wish, let’s take a look at these titles one by one;

Fat removal surgery can be performed to eliminate weight and deformities that cannot be lost despite diet and exercise.

This surgery can be successfully performed on suitable patients in order to melt and remove excess fat tissue and reshape it in every area from under the chin (jowl) to the ankle (waist area, waist pit, just above and below the bra strap area, underarm and back, entire back, hip, butt, inner thigh, inner side of the knee area, lower leg area, ankle area) and it has quite satisfactory results. After the targeted amount of fat is removed, the subcutaneous tissue is tightened with laser and sagging of the skin is prevented.

It is appropriate to remove 3-6 liters of fat in a single session depending on the excess in the body. The main thing is to provide regional thinning (in centimeters) rather than making the patients lose weight. Thus, an effect is seen as if much more weight is lost than the amount of fat removed in this procedure.

It is recommended to use a corset for approximately 6 weeks after the surgery. Since corsets are flexible, they do not affect your daily life.

The duration of hospital stay after the surgery is planned to be the same day or 1 day later, depending on the nature of the operation. If the patient does not have severe physical conditions, they can return to work after 2 days. Bruising and swelling will disappear within 3-6 weeks. The healing process is accelerated with lymph drainage called pressotherapy in the 2nd week after the operation. The results of the surgery can be clearly seen in approximately 8 weeks. Balanced nutrition and exercise after the surgery make the results much more successful.

Today, thanks to this method called laser lipolysis, unlike the classic one, there is less injury, bleeding, swelling and deformity (referred to as fluctuation by patients). However, if the patient is overweight, the classic method can also be performed if the surgeon deems it appropriate.

Abdominoplasty

Due to reasons such as rapid weight gain and loss, excessive weight gain, childbirth, a belly may form, cracks and cellulite may appear, and the abdomen may sag. If there is a fold of skin under the belly button, if the patient is overweight and there are cracks on the skin, the excess skin tissue, therefore the cracks on it and the fatty tissue underneath, must be surgically removed by cutting them out together. In suitable patients, liposuction (fat removal) can also be performed on the belly button and the waist area in the same session.

Along with a detailed examination, USG (ultrasound) is used to investigate whether there is an inguinal or abdominal hernia. If there is, the hernia can be repaired in the same session. In addition, loose abdominal muscles can be tightened during the tummy tuck surgery. Since the tummy tuck operation requires a cosmetic surgery application, the aesthetics of the belly button is also important and is tried to be protected.

There are two types of tummy tuck operations: mini tummy tuck and classic tummy tuck.

After a mini tummy tuck, a slightly longer scar is formed on the right and left in the area where the cesarean scar is located; however, in a classic tummy tuck operation, this scar is slightly longer. However, in both cases, the scar remains under the bikini and is invisible.

When this operation is combined with diet and exercise, much more successful results are achieved.

Stretching and Thinning Operations

Body lift surgeries include arm lift, inner thigh lift, buttock lift, back lift, tummy tuck and combinations. These surgeries are generally performed to cut the excess skin that sags after excessive weight loss due to advanced age and to close the skin appropriately.

It should not be forgotten that the skin, which is the largest organ of the body, also has its limits and boundaries.

Patients who lose excessive weight want to get rid of their excess skin immediately and radically due to sagging in their bodies. Surgeons also want to make their patients happy by removing as much skin as possible with the same wish. However, going through this process without blood transfusion, intensive care support and without experiencing life-threatening danger is the most logical solution for both parties.

Performing such surgeries several times both reduces the patient’s risks, ensures that the post-operative wound healing period is short and comfortable, and allows the doctor to make minor corrections related to the previous operation.

Information

    Three Inner Legs

There are two types of operations preferred in this area. The first is liposuction operations performed in young patients due to excessive fat accumulation due to excessive weight, and the discomfort caused to the patient when the excess on both sides rubs against each other while walking.

The second more common situation is tightening operations performed due to excessive weight loss and aging, due to sagging and deformed inner thigh skin. Here, the excess skin is cut and removed and stitched. Therefore, there is a scar. And since less skin is always removed than the patient expects, this situation should be explained to the patient before the operation. The dressing is followed with auxiliary materials placed under the incision called two-sided drains to prevent fluid accumulation. Lymphatic massage performed on the patient after the surgery positively affects this process.

Outer Leg and Butt Lift Surgeries

It is a major surgical operation and the patient should be informed that the scar may be bad in the long term as it has a large incision at waist level and an incision extending from one end to the other.

Outer Leg and Butt Lift Surgeries

The treatment is surgical. Liposuction (laser lipolysis, radiofrequency liposuction or classical liposuction) may be preferred, especially in young people, when the skin’s ability to recover is sufficient.

It is an operation that is generally performed after the age of 55 or after excessive weight loss by cutting off the excess skin and then stretching the remaining skin as much as possible and hiding the scar on the inside of the arm. There are scars and the incision line is visible when looked at, but this situation is overcome by trying to hide it on the inside of the arm. There is no need to use drains. Wound care is important. The patient complains about this situation in the summer months and when wearing short-sleeved clothes.

In such lifting operations, wound care is as important as the surgery.
